Biometric Virtual drives Protection

Apart from controlling and monitoring the boot log on process, Biosentry XS continues to be effective after complete boot, by offering yet another feature “Biosentry Vault”. This Vault is a virtual disk and can have a variable space of 1 MB to 99 GB, which is mounted upon positive authentication of the user. You can have multiple virtual drives on the system. This implies that, no one will be able to open a particular user vault unless authenticated by fingerprint. This feature makes Biosentry unique in its class, which tackles almost all threats and attacks.

Active Directory Integration

Bio sentry PC Logon can work on Active Directory environment, with single or Two Tier Architecture,with active directory implementation and login to each PC can be controlled centrally. Administration can enable or disable any user from Active Directory.

Emergency Admin Login

In case of emergency, administrators can login to the PC by using the Admin Hardware Lock. This help’s administrator to get important information when user is not available. A record of such log in is saved in the database with details lock information.

Third Party Software Integration

VISITOR AUTHORISATION
Visitor’s details would flash on that particular authorized employee’s computer. Visitor can enter the premises only if that concerned employee permits visit of a Visitors. If an employee is busy in a meeting and postpones the visit, security would take the action. If an employee is on leave/out of office, security would stop visitor at gate.
VISITOR PASS CREATION
BioSentry VMS gives an option to produce paper pass on the spot. It carries information like name, Name of organization, contacts, Visitor’s ID, Pass Validity, Photographs etc.
VISITOR ACCESS CONTROL

There are two elements which are vital in this process, firstly the person and secondly the weapon. To make automation, both these elements must be uniquely defined. A fingerprint based biometrics is used to achieve the assignment and identification of a person, while the non-living object, a weapon, is assigned an RFID tag, with a given unique number. Although the unique number of a weapon is the manufacturer’s registration and shall be a primary key. Like a person has been given attributes such as service number, rank, identity card number, etc. a weapon is assigned useful attributes such as weapon name, butt number, usage etc.
